Wednesday, August 12, 2009 from 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM (GMT)
Inspired by previous Be2camp* events in London and Liverpool, Be2camp Brum will be an 'unconference' about social media, digital tools and the built environment. It will be held at the Fazeley Studios, Birmingham, on 12 August 2009 from 12.00 - 8.00pm (venue details)
Latest list of speakers:
We hope that the lunch time start and late finish will encourage a more social affair in collaboration with the nearest pub in the evening, also allowing people to join us later in the day after office hours. We'd like to finish the day with a Pecha Kucha session inviting any speakers brave enough to step forward to abide by the quick fire rules with an alternative presentation.
We'll make a start with presentations around 12:30pm, running on until around 5:30pm, then finish with the quick fire stuff and on to the bar for some 'networking'.
Please let us know if you'd like to give a presentation or offer a workshop approach to the things you do.
Offers of sponsorship to help cover the costs of sandwiches and beer will be gladly received...
Notes:
*be2camp = Built Environment + Web 2 + camp
(camp is term used to describe a free, informal conference)
